This time we have commissioned Stefano Venditti as he presents the 'Same Same But Different EP' featuring the singles "Under This Fever" and "Nostalgy". With previous releases on Funkfield and several other labels Stefano has a signature sound that is perfect for summertime. HCM007 Alex Augello 'Swimming City EP'

For release number seven Hub City welcomes back Alex Augello who made his debut on HCM003 with Funk Mediterraneo and their well received "Life is a Loop EP". Now Alex returns with the solo effort "Swimming City EP". Swimming City is a 4 track straight laced chugger that includes remixes by Sean Michaels ('Check In') and Brandon Bass ('Swimming City'). Both originals are tracky mediterranean influenced grooves that would fit any late night patio party in Rome (or wherever you happen to be). Coupled with remixes that keep the integrity of the original while adding a dubby chunky twist this EP is sure to do well with outdoor events everywhere this summer.

HCM005 Various Artists 'Hub City Music 2010 Spring Sampler'

Hello again!! For those of you headed to South Beach for this year’s WMC festivities or to Austin for SxSw we have a diverse package of tunes to offer that we think you'll enjoy. First off we have a deep tracky selection from Brandon Bass & Joey M (DHA) with "Deep Creep". This track is perfect for early on in the evening or 3am in a warehouse, so if you are a fan of deeper selections check this one out. Second up on the sampler we have an original tune by production duo Freeware who have churned out top selling remixes over the past year for artists like Latenight Society & Funk Mediterraneo. They offer up the selection "Chicago 2010" and it is a patio party pleaser sure to get hips swinging on those long hot days in SoBe (special thanks to Nate Laurence and Scrubfish for the vocal sample, you guys rock!!). The third track titled “Stutter Step” is brought to you by Hub City newcomer Kevin Crafts and is a definite heater for any dancefloor. Kevin has been hard at work in the studio and will be releasing a full length debut LP later this year so be on the lookout!! Our fourth selection on the sampler “Can’t Do Love“ comes from our good friend Rescue with vocal stabs and a bassline that will get the dancefloor moving at any hour. HCM004 Chemars 'Feelin' Good EP'

Greetings everybody! Hope you enjoyed our last EP from Funk Mediterraneo & Alex Augello “Life Is A Loop”. Thanks to all of your support it has been burning up the charts and getting play all around the globe. We thank you and appreciate everybody for charting and playing the EP on mixes, radio shows and live sets. Now onto our second release of the year, a feel good collection of tunes from Romanian producer Chemars fittingly entitled “Feelin’ Good EP”. This three track EP displays why Chemars has consistently been in demand for original and remix work recently with best selling tracks on Stompy and other sites. The two original tracks “Feelin’ Good” and “Mustard Feet” display Chemars signature style of bouncy drums and grooving basslines with “Feelin’ Good” coming with a dubby stripped down sound and “Mustard Feet” with it’s deep pulsing bass that will get anyone off their ass and out on the dance floor. On remix duties we have Rescue & Uriah West with a smoking hot rendition of the title track “Feelin’ Good” that is pure gold. For Hub City's last EP of 2009 we have commissioned fresh faced Italian phenom Funk Mediterraneo who is joined by Alex Augello bringing you a 3 track EP entitled 'Life Is A Loop'. This Ep definitely displays why Funk Mediterraneo has exploded onto the scene over the past few months grabbing the attention of some of house music's heavyweights including Inland Knights and Lingo Recordings. The two original tracks "Life Is A Loop" & "Alex" exhibit a minimalist vibe with funky mediterranean undertones that make for a terrific package especially when you round out the EP with Hub City's dynamic duo Freeware on remix duties.
